JAKE ALLEN VS. ALEC DERKS
This project was my first project using Adobe Illustrator. Because I do PR for the SLU Hockey team and intern with the St. Louis Blues, I decided to do more with my love for hockey. I made an infographic comparing the goalies from both teams. Jake Allen is the goalie for the St. Louis Blues, and Alec Derks plays for SLU. In relation to using Illustrator, I learned to make simple shapes, charts, fun branding signs, how to create text, and more. This project also combined some Photoshop skills, for I had to cut out the players and the pucks for this infographic.
COLLEGE MYTHBUSTER
This was my first project using Adobe Audition, and I really enjoyed it. I am very familiar with GarageBand because I used it often in high school, but after working Adobe Audition, I really enjoy it. I find it easier to use and more fun. For this project, I decided to make my very first "College Mythbuster" podcast where I bust a typical college myth. In this podcast, I specifically talk about the Freshman 15. Do college students really gain 15 pounds after their first year of college? Listen and find out.

PECHA KUCHA
This is my first project using photoshop. To practice, I decided to tell a silly story of the two characters from Candy Land who wishes to live in a "normal" world. This project taught be how to cut images, place different backgrounds, and just how to have fun with Photoshop. The final product was made into a PowerPoint that cannot be uploaded to the site; however the link below will open up the project.

AUDIO RECREATION
For this project I decided to combine my love for hockey and for audio. I recreated the audio for a scene from the movie Miracle. This scene took place in the locker room right before the big game against the Soviets. All the sounds including the music and the dialogue was stripped away, and I recreated the audio from scratch. Most of the sounds were recreated. Every little sound like skates moving on the floor, the sticks being taped, the pat on the back, the flipping of paper, everything was recreated by recreating the action or finding a creative way to remake the sound. The only thing that was not recreated was the music and the sound of the lighter right at the beginning of the video. The voice over was done by Jeffrey Au, a SLU Hockey player, and my boyfriend.
